| The 45,000 sf renovation and expansion of Winchester Hospital's Cancer Care Center was performed around a fully functioning oncology treatment center. The work required the removal of the second floor of the oncology treatment center as well as the demolition of a 14,000 sf 2-story adjacent structure.
The 2nd floor was rebuilt with increased ceiling heights to accommodate mechanical systems for the newly expanded oncology space. An attached 3-story, 7,000sf, historic building was restored and completely renovated for doctors and administrative offices.
The phased project will consolidate all of the hospitals oncology services under one roof.
AutoCAD Revit was used to coordinate and install the complicated mechanical and electrical systems.
