The new 26,000 square foot structural steel-frame building in Portsmouth creates the largest emergency and transitionals shelter in New Hampshire. The facility expands the Cross Roads House program with emergency shelter facilities, longer term housing, a full service kitchen and dining floor and facilities for counseling and administration. A micro turbine to generate electricity was installed in the basement.
