The adaptive reuse of Roxbury's historic Egleston Square MBTA Power Substation (circa 1909) into the home of Boston Neighborhood Network TV Station incorporates the principals of historic preservation along with the tenants of sustainability.
The newly adapted space houses BNN's production and administration offices.
Interstitial floors were incorporated to provide additional space for the community media center. Completion of the project returns to the neighborhood a historically significant building that was originally designed in the Italian basilica style in 1909.
