| This 5-story historic townhouse on Beacon Hill, adjacent to the Athenaeum, was originally constructed in 1808 and has housed the Boston Bar Foundation since 1962. The renovation included demolition of the building's main outer wall for expansion into an adjoining building during which time the facility remained occupied. In addition, a new handicap access elevator and tower structure was appended to the building while maintaining the original architectural character. |
