Situated 20 feet below ground, only the crescent-shaped front wall of the 15,000 s/f library is visible from the exterior. This signature building on the picturesque Cushing campus is underpinned to an existing structure above ground. The considerable construction challenges required a team approach to the project. A.J. Martini became involved during the design development stage, pricing budget estimates and providing value-engineering solutions.
