Sustainable Construction

Commitment Starts at Home

Our commitment to sustainability starts at the top and extends across all that we do.  In 2005 we were on the forefront as the first construction management firm to earn LEED Silver certification (Existing Building) for our own corporate offices.  Since then, we have worked with our clients to incorporate the tenants fo sustainability into their own building projects, many electing to seek official LEED certification.

Green Begins with a Plan

Gerry Parent, LEED AP, Director of Sustainable Construction, plays a vital role consulting with clients and the design team during preconstruction to provide strategies and guidance on green initiatives, energy planning and potential LEED certification.

Gerry has more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry as an owner, operations manager, estimator and project manager.  His ecpertise in HVAC design and MEP coordination brings tremendous value when working through options and solutions for energy effciency and sustainablility.

Recycling Success

Martini recycles an average of 92% of construction debris on all jobsites - some projects achieve 98%.

Martini produces a tailored waste management plan for each client.  The plan identifies products to be recycled and outlines proper disposal or reuse.  Our experts manage the process, maintain records and provide important training sessions to ensure that the plan is executed safely.

Our recycling program gives us great pride, as well as LEED certification points
