Scheduling
During preconstruction the project manager is responsible for compiling a project schedule with oversight by our project executive. During construction, the superintendent is responsible for compiling the construction schedule on a regular basis with oversight by the project manager.

A project schedule differs from a construction schedule in that a project schedule is divided into both the preconstruction and construction phases of the project. The project schedule will list the responsibilities of all members of the building team, including owner, architect and contractor. A construction schedule lists only the construction events, tasks and activities required of the contractor to complete the project. Both types of schedule depict milestone dates to reflect important events occurring along the project's critical path.
"As a subcontractor it is important to work for General Contractors that have expertise in scheduling and handling of problems." Kevin Craffey, President K&J Interiors, Inc.
