Safety is our top priority. Nothing is more important at the site than the safety of our employees and the public. Our safety manager develops a safety program specifically for each project. We utilize our established Corporate Safety Program and incorporate considerations unique to the job such as site logistics, construction variables, weather, surrounding neighborhood, local community events, etc.

CHASE Blue Level of Excellence
We have a highly successful safety program. Our firm earned the distinct honor of being one of only three contractors in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2004 to be awarded the OSHA CHASE Blue Level of Excellence, OSHA's highest award. That honor has been repeated each year since our acceptance by OSHA.

CHASE, founded in 2004, stands for Construction Health and Safety Excellence, a national partnership between the Associated General Contractors of America and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).



We have earned our excellent safety record:
- Training through regular "tool box" meetings by our foreman at the site on the use of tools & equipment and safety procedures

- Training through our ACES program conducted at our corporate headquarters as well as through the AGC and OSHA

- Vigilance in oversight and implementation of OSHA code requirements by our Safety manager, field superintendents and our Director of Field Operations.

- Strict enforcement through an organized and well-executed program of procedures.

- An incentive program in the field that encourages and rewards excellence for anticipating the curve balls and dealing with them.

AGC Safety Awards
The Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts (AGC of MA) has repeatedly presented Martini with awards for our excellent safety record. We were most recently acknowledged by the AGC of America - National AGC Safety Award (NASA) for Zero Lost Time in 2009.
