Under our centralized purchasing department, the award of all subcontracts and purchase orders are reviewed and authorized. Our centralized approach assures that we do not over commit to any particular subcontractor. Our construction support group is also staffed with full time project accountants with one assigned to each and every project. It is their sole responsibility to prepare requisitions, obtain lien releases and insure that we have proper subcontractor's certificates of insurance. While the project manager is ultimately responsible, he/she spends less time on accounting and more time focusing on managing. |
